New! EndoTitans Hands-On Challenge

Sunday, October 27 | 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm / Exhibit Halls 3 & 4

The EndoTitans Challenge will be an opportunity for fellows to demonstrate both their knowledge and technical abilities in endoscopy. The challenge began in August with a preliminary knowledge round open to all second and third-year fellows. The top scoring fellows from each year were then invited to participate in a skills challenge. Winners will take home both bragging rights and a travel grant for ACG 2020. Join us in the Hands-On Workshop area of the Exhibit Hall to cheer on the competitors.

Sunanda V. Kane, MD, MSPH, FACG, ACG President, will address attendees during the Presidential Address to mark the beginning of the ACG 2019 Annual Scientific Meeting. The President uses this opportunity to welcome attendees, highlight accomplishments over the past year, and bid farewell as the leadership passes on to the next President-Elect.

GIQuIC Luncheon: GIQuIC - Measuring and Improving Quality in Clinical Practice

The GI Quality Improvement Consortium (GIQuIC) is hosting a lunch for current and prospective GIQuIC registry participants. GIQuIC Board members will provide an overview of the registry and users will share ways of using GIQuIC for quality improvement in their practice, followed by Q & A. In this session, the editors reveal answers to the “Top 10 Questions” they receive about the publication process and share pearls of wisdom about what works – and what doesn’t work – when submitting papers for publication.
