When will Virtual ACG 2020 take place?
Virtual ACG 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting & Postgraduate Course will take place during the same time as original live meeting, Friday, October 23, 2020 to Wednesday, October 28, 2020. More details: meetings.gi.org
How will the College present Virtual ACG 2020?
Virtual ACG 2020 will be hosted on a powerful Web-based platform. All oral papers will be presented and there will be dedicated live sessions with ample time for Q&A with expert faculty, as well as smaller fora for conversation, networking and learning. Virtual ACG 2020 will give clinical investigators new ways to showcase their posters in our digital e-Poster hall and record short presentations about their findings supported by Q&A features to engage with attendees on the science.

How can I register for Virtual ACG 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting & Postgraduate Course?
Registration can be completed online at meetings.gi.org. Registrations are not accepted over the phone, or via e-mail. If you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail registration@gi.org.
What is included in the All Access Pass?

Do I have to be an ACG member to register?
No, you do not need to be an ACG member to register. There are multiple registration categories for non-members.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
There are no refunds for cancellation.
How can I get a receipt for my registration?
Once you have completed your resgistration for ACG 2020, you will receive a receipt/confirmation e-mail. The e-mail will outline the courses that you have registered for, as well as show proof of payment. If you do not receive this e-mail upon completion of your registration, please contact registration@gi.org or call 301-263-9000.
Can I make changes to my registration?
Yes, to make changes to your registration please visit the registration page and log-in using your last name and Order # (included in your registration confirmation).
What does my registration fee include?
Your registration fee includes access to ACG’s virtual platform for the course(s) which you are registered for, inclusive of the e-poster hall, and virtual exhibit hall. Access to the virtual platform will be available until January 31, 2021. You will also receive access to the meeting app with all slide presentations for the course(s) which you are registered for.
Abstracts
I have submitted an abstract. How will this impact me?
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed and considered for presentation as a Plenary Session Oral Paper or as a Poster. Presenting Authors for abstracts selected for presentation in a Plenary Session will be able to record an audio accompaniment for their slides; a limited number of Plenary Session Oral Presenting Authors will be invited to participate in a moderated live chat Q&A session. ACG is launching an ePoster Hall this year, and all poster presenters will be encouraged to provide a digital version of their poster for the ePoster Hall. In addition, Poster Presenters will have the option of recording a short narration explaining their findings, that will accompany their digital poster, and attendees will be able to submit questions directly to poster authors.
Will my submitted abstract be published?
All submitted abstracts, regardless of whether they are selected for presentation, will appear in the online supplement to the October issue of The American Journal of Gastroenterology.
Can an abstract be withdrawn?
Requests to withdraw an abstract should be sent to abstracts@gi.org. The deadline to withdraw an abstract from publication in the October issue of The American Journal of Gastroenterology is August 31. The deadline to withdraw an abstract from presentation at ACG 2020 is September 30.
Scientific Program and Continuing Medical Education
Will the program for Virtual ACG 2020 change from the live meeting and courses?
ACG is currently working on the final agenda for Virtual ACG 2020. All the talks will be available via the new digital meeting platform, along with many other new sessions and innovative offerings.
Will the Postgraduate Course also be held?
Yes, ACG’s Postgraduate Course will still be offered. All of the presentations will be available on-demand via the digital meeting platform and the learning experience will be enhanced through live streamed sessions on Saturday and Sunday, October 24-25, 2020.
Will there also be CME and MOC available for Virtual ACG 2020?
Yes, CME and ABIM MOC points will be available for each of the courses. CME is also available for each of the bonus session packages (previously the breakfast and lunch sessions).
Has the embargo changed?
Yes. For Virtual 2020 ACG the embargo will coincide with the start of the Annual Scientific Meeting on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 8:00 am EDT
Faculty / Speakers
I was invited to speak at ACG 2020, what will happen with my talk?
All invited speakers will be asked to record their presentations. ACG will contact all speakers and moderators directly in July with recording information as well as updated deadlines.
I was invited to moderate a session. Will I moderate virtually?
ACG will contact moderators directly about live steaming sessions. You may be asked to summarize the talks in your session or participate in a live streaming Q&A session.
Exhibitors and Sponsors
I already booked my hotel block for the live meeting in Nashville. What do I need to do to cancel my rooms?
Your hotel block will automatically be cancelled. No deposits have been charged and there is no penalty for cancellation. You do not need to do anything further.
How will Virtual ACG 2020 feature exhibitors?
The ACG 2020 platform offers a robust exhibit hall. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to upload a welcome video, write a company or product description, upload resources for participants to download and save, chat live with attendees, as well as set up one on one meetings with participants.
How long will the virtual platform remain accessible to exhibitors and HCPs?
The virtual platform will be available for exhibitors and participants through January 31, 2021.
I am interested in digital sponsorships. How can I find more information?

I am not interested in exhibiting in the virtual meeting, can I transfer my payment to ACG 2021?
Yes, if you opt not to participate in the Virtual ACG 2020, you may use your 2020 booth payment for the ACG 2021 meeting in Las Vegas.

Will there be press briefings?

I am a member of the press, should I register?
Members of the working press are welcome at the Virtual 2020 ACG Annual Scientific Meeting. All scientific and poster sessions will be accessible to press, including plenary sessions, symposia, research and clinical forums, and postgraduate courses. Registration is free.
