Friday Courses

Six courses are offered: four half-day courses, the GI Pathology & Imaging Course, the Practice Management Summit, the ACG Advanced Practice Provider Leadership Summit, and the Women’s Initiative for Success & Empowerment in Gastroenterology Leadership Course; one evening course, the Guide to the Guidelines Course; and one full-day course, the ASGE/ACG Endoscopy Course.

Pathology and Imaging in the Evaluation of Gastrointestinal Disease Course

Learning Objectives:

Describe current concepts of radiology and pathology in the evaluation and treatment of patients with gastrointestinal diseases. Identify radiologic findings related to gastrointestinal diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. Evaluate both basic and advanced pathology findings in patients with gastrointestinal diseases through close examination of representative photomicrographs. Correlate typical radiology and pathology findings reflective of both the normal and abnormal physiology and pathophysiology.
